Gopika Suresh from Kannur won the Miss Kerala 2021 beauty pageant held at Le Merridien, Kochi. She is a post graduate student in Clinical Psychology at Bangalore. Livya Liffy from Ernakulam became the first runner up and Gagana Gopal from Thrissur became the second runner up. Livia is a second year BTech student of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally. Gagana is a graduate student in Sports and Exercise Science in Melbourne, Australia.
The 22nd Impressorio Miss Kerala pageant was judged by director Jeethu Joseph, music director Deepak Dev, singer Anoop Shankar, Aneesha Cherian, Sobha Viswanathan, actresses Iniya, Veena Nair and Deepa Thomas. A total 25 contestants participated in the beauty pageant.
The competition show for their successors started yesterday with prayers in front of the memory of former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabir and runner up Anjana Shaji who died in a car accident. The final question for the contestants was who was responsible for the spread of intoxication, which is becoming the curse of the new age. The best answer to this and played a major role in making Gopika win.
