As Google announced a new security feature for Google account users, it asked users verifying their accounts. The new sign in feature is meant to prevent any malicious third party activity associated with the account. That is, with the new verification, the third party logins would become more secure, by means of SAML Single Sign On (SSO). The new screen on the Google’s site, would start becoming visible for users, from May 7 onwards.
Informed by Google in G Suite Updates blog, the new screen would provide an additional layer of security. This will help users preventing phishing attacks as well as attacks occurring due to instances of unknowingly signing in.
