Ahead of Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ release, the Telangana government gave a special concession to the filmmakers. The government has agreed to reduce the ticket prices for Ghani. The change in decision comes after small films failed to benefit when the ticket prices were hiked during the release of SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.
‘Ghani’ will hit the theatres on April 8. The film was supposed to release earlier this year, however it got postponed due to the pandemic and several other theatrical releases of big-budget films.
The Telangana government made the announcement today that they will reduce the price of tickets for Varun Tej’s Ghani. As per the latest order, the tickets are priced at Rs 200 + GST in multiplexes and Rs 150 + GST in single screens.
Ghani is directed by KIran Korrapati, which is a family drama and Varun Tej will be seen essaying the role of a boxer. The film is produced by Allu Bobby and Siddu Mudda and also features Nadhiya, Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Suneil Shetty, Saiee Manjrekar, Naresh and Naveen Chandra in supporting roles.
