Actress Nikhila Vimal says that those who have a passion for acting should not take shortcuts like casting couch to get into cinema despite such problems. Nikhila has played notable roles in films like ‘Love 24 * 7’, ‘Aravindante Athithikal’ and ‘NJan Prakashan’.
Nikhila Vimal’s words:
I never really wanted to get into film. But I know a lot of people who want to get into film. There are people who come to us and ask if they can buy a chance in a movie. I can not believe it. Even ours is often struggling. But outsiders think it’s easy for us. But that is not the case.
Everyone inside the movie is struggling. Although he is now a director and cinematographer. Our struggle will always be lessened only when we have a project close by.
I thought it would happen if we wanted something terrible. But the problem arises when using shortcuts to get to the cinema. A lot of people have come to the cinema through Tick Tock and the channel reality show. There will be many options as well. Do not go to the casting couch. If you get a call to act, just verify it and leave. You need luck to get to the movies and then the ability to go on.
I had not done a film for two years after my first film, Love 24 * 7. Then people said I was terribly unlucky but after ‘Aravindante Athithikal’ everyone said I was lucky. It’s not about luck factor, it’s about you casting me if I can.
