The Ministry of External Affairs has extended assistance to students studying abroad stranded in India due to Covid restrictions. A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said that students stranded in India without being able to return abroad should contact the OIA-II Division.

The foreign affairs spokesperson also tweeted two e-mail addresses us.oia2@mea.gov.in, so1oia2@mea.gov.in to inform students with travel problems including their mobile number and e-mail ID.
The Ministry of External Affairs is intervening in the matter as many students are stranded in India as various countries have tightened Covid restrictions.
