After ‘Drishyam 2 ‘shooting completed Mohanlal is ready to start the shooting ot ‘Aarattu’. The big-budget film which is being directed by Unnikrishnan is said to be a mass masala film. Insiders say the film, which focuses on comedy, will have some great action scenes too.
Mohanlal will do the role of ‘Neyyattinkara Gopan’ in the film. Another highlight of the film is a Benz car with the famous number ‘2255’. The movie is based on some events happened after Gopan went to Palakkad from Neyyattinkara.
Director B Unnikrishnan had earlier told a national media that the film is being made with a budget of Rs 18 crore. It was also announced that a 60-day shoot would be planned. Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Sai Kumar, Vijaya Raghavan, Johnny Antony, Indrans, Raghavan, Nandu, Biju Pappan, Sheela, Swasika, Malavika and Rachana Narayanan Kutty will also be seen in the lead roles.
The film, which will start shooting in Palakkad on the 23rd, has a location in Hyderabad too. According to reports, the film will be released on Onam in 2021.
