Kerala has registered a total of 1251 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 814. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 31,690, while the state’s total active cases have reached 12,411. A total of 19,151 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 77 are from overseas, while 94 came from other states.
The state has registered 1061 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 73 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 5 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 102.

Right now, 1,49,684 people are under observation, out of which a total of 11,654 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,570 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 27,608 samples – a record figure. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 9,36,651 samples. The results of 7,135 test results are yet to come.
