Kerala has registered a total of 1195 new Covid positive cases. The number of samples that turned negative stands at 1234. With this, the total number of covid cases in Kerala has reached 29,131, while the state’s total active cases have reached 11,494. A total of 17,537 people have recovered from the disease. Amongst those who have turned positive today, 66 are from overseas, while 125 came from other states.
The state has registered 971 cases through transmission in the past 24 hours. Out of those who caught the disease through transmission, the sources of 79 are yet to be traced down. Incidentally, the state has also recorded 7 more Covid death cases, taking the tally to 94.

Right now, 1,47,074 people are under observation, out of which a total of 11,167 are in hospital. Today, a total of 1,444 people have been admitted to hospitals. During the last 24 hours, Kerala has tested a total of 25,096 samples. Till date, Kerala has tested a total of 4,17,939 routine samples. The results of 6,444 test results are yet to come. The state has a total of 515 hotspots right now.
