Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the government’s recently launched ‘Arogya Sethu’ tracking app is very important in combating the spread of coronavirus in India. Modi said the tracking app is an essential tool to fight Covid-19. According to the news agency PTI, the Arogya Sethu App can be used as an e-pass to travel from one place to another.
Prime Minister Modi spoke about the prospects for health care in a video conference with state chief ministers over the 21-day lockdown situation, which was scheduled to end on April 14.
The ‘Arogya Sethu’ tracking app already available in the Google Play Store and in the App Store for iPhones for Android smartphones will help you track and track coronavirus infection using the phone’s GPS system and Bluetooth. It can also determine if you are in or near a Covid-19 infected person.
This ensures that all data in the app is encrypted. Using location data gives you accurate information about the area around you. Not only that, Bluetooth also has the service of determining if you are six feet away from the infected person.
The Arogya Sethu app supports 11 languages. Once the application is downloaded, you will need to register with your mobile number. Later, the app will have the option to provide your health statistics and other credentials. To enable tracking, you need to turn on your location and Bluetooth services.
