Apple is reportedly going to cut down the production of iPhone X in the first quarter of 2018. Going with the trade analysts, Apple might go for a cut in production of its flagship model from 40M to 20M. Though Apple hasn’t made any official comment on this regard, the company however has already cut down the orders from the manufacturers of iPhone components.
With iPhone X underperforming, Apple might also make necessary cautions before entering the production stage of three upcoming flagship models this year. Similarly, Apple would be shifting its focus on the next update to the Operating System – iOS12. By improving the user experience, performance and reliability with iOS 12, Apple is trying to bolster its position in the industry.
