Amidst all such rumours, it was in last day, which saw AMMA Women Cell convening for its first official meeting. Held at Kochi, the meeting was attended by 12 members of AMMA. Earlier, it was heard that the meeting witnessed a slew of complaints against various filmy personalities being registered. That said, Shamna Kasim, who attended the meeting, has come up with a statement, which contradicts all the above reports. She was of the opinion that the meeting was friendly in nature. She added that no one had come up with ‘Me Too’ revelations.
The AMMA Women Cell, which convened under the leadership of KPAC Lalitha, Kukku Parameswaran and Ponnamma Babu, will soon be making a bigger meeting at Thiruvananthapuram. Shamna maintained that the Women Cell would set stage for people, who want to share their recent troubles, rather than digging old graves.
