Amazon has toppled Google’s parent company ‘Alphabet’ to become the second most valuable company in the world. The list, which is headed by Apple, now has Amazon reigning at the second positions, followed by Alphabet. The valuation of these companies, according to S&P Global Market Intelligent, goes respectively like this: at $889B, $768B and $762B.

Well, with the business world eagerly looking to see a company touching the $1 trillion mark for the first time, it is an open game for all. While many predict Apple to touch the mark first, Amazon seems a strong contend for the spot.
