Alibaba has proved its mettle in the Indian market with some aggressive marketing campaigning. The Indian online space is more or less going to be that of Chinese’s soon. With Alibaba divulged its plans to open up a new data centre in Mumbai in January 2018, the Chinese giants would be helping those of Indian enterprises with its cloud services.
Announcing the same, Alibaba group maintained that India would always be a key market for them, while the country gives them tremendous opportunities in the field of cloud computing. The plans of Alibaba in India include those of, large scale computing, storage resources and Big Data processing capabilities. That said, Alibaba has made its presence felt in 33 availability zones and a total of 16 economic centers.
