Rambha was once a popular actress in South Indian cinema. The actor has acted in all South Indian languages including Malayalam. But after marriage, the actor left the film industry. Now the actress is living a good family with her husband and three children. Now an old interview of the star has become viral again in the social media in a big way.
Arunachalam was a film starring Rambha and Rajinikanth in the lead roles. The actor has opened up about some of the things that happened on the location of this film. The actor is now saying that Rajinikanth made fun of him during the shoot and the reason for that. Rambha reveals that she had to cry because of the teasing.
“It was during the shooting of Arunachalam. I also acted in a film called Bandhan with Salman Khan at that time. Rajini will act in Sir’s film in the morning. She will be acting in Salman Khan’s film from noon onwards. Once Salman Khan and Jackie Shroff sir reached the shooting location of Rajini sir. When I saw them, I hugged them. It was part of their culture. But Rajini sir had noticed this and looked at me very angry after they left. Although I did not understand the matter at first, the cameraman Senthil sir told me about it. He asked me what you did. At first I didn’t understand anything. He said that Rajini sir got angry. Rajini sir also said that Rajini sir will not act with me anymore. Those on that set knew this. I was still confused. I started crying” – says Rambha.
“Then Rajini sir came and consoled me. He was telling me some things. I was asked how you welcomed Salman Khan. When you saw us, you said hi sir, don’t you usually read books? Doesn’t that mean you only respect North Indians? Don’t you think southerners are too small? Rajini asked me. That’s when things became clearer to me. This is an experience I will never forget” – Rambha added.
