Actor Innocent passed away at the age of 75

Veteran film actor Innocent (75) passed away. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi due to illness. The star, who filled more than three decades in comedy and character roles, has passed away. He was the president of the star organization ‘AMMA’ for 18 years. Acted in more than 700 films. His first film was ‘Nrithashala’ released in 1972. He was a member of the Lok Sabha from Chalakudy from 2014 to 2019

Apart from being an actor, Innocent was also a survivalist who played a variety of characters with flair. After recovering from cancer, he became prominent in the field of cancer awareness. Wrote a book on cancer survival, ‘Laughter in the Cancer Ward’.
