Acer has launched four new Chromebooks at an event held in New York. Out of the total, two are meant for business purpose. The 13 inch Chromebook comes with a 16:9 aspect ratio, while the convertible Chromebook Spin model comes with a 360 degree hinge. The Chromebook 13 is been powered by Intel Core i3 – 8130U or Intel Pentium 4415U or that of Intel Celeron 3865U; they are paired with 16GB LPDDR3 RAM, while two onboard storage variants are available – 32GB/64GB eMMC. Powered by Intel Core i5 – 8250U processor or that of Core i3 – 8130U 8th gen processor, it would be paired with a 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. A 128GB of on board eMMC storage facility comes with the device. Acer Chromebook Spin 13 also offer a battery life of up to 10 hours.
Into the 15 inch convertible Chromebook, which offers 360 degree hinge, the device has got a 14 hour battery life. The device is powered by the Intel Pentium N4200 processor, Intel Celeron N3450 or that of the dual core Intel Celeron N3350 processor. The model also comes with either 4GB/8GB LPDDR4 RAM or 32GB/64GB onboard storage options. The company, which will bring the devices in the US by July this year, however has not commented on its India plan.
