With the resignation of two ministers from the LDF government, it is reported that the government is going to have a big responsibility. Antony Raju and Ahmed Devarkov have resigned after two and a half years. With this, the government is going to have a big liability in terms of pension of their personal staffs. The newly appointed ministers are KB Ganesh Kumar and Gadanapalli Ramachandran. The responsibility of the new arrivals in their staff will also be on the government. Pension is between Rs.3450 to Rs.6000. Apart from this, they will also get other benefits including DA. There were 21 people in Antony Raju’s staff. Out of this one additional secretary and one clerk were on deputation from government service.

At the same time, 19 people were also political appointees. Antony Raju had two additional private secretaries, four assistant private secretaries, one additional PA, one assistant, four clerks, four office assistants, two drivers and one cook as staff members. Meanwhile, Ahmed Devarkovil had 25 staff members.

Seven were deputation from government service and 18 were political appointees. Of the three Additional Private Secretaries, two were political appointees. Of the four Assistant Private Secretaries, two were political appointees. Other appointments were one PA, one additional PA, four clerks, five peons, two drivers and a cook. Meanwhile, even if the minister resigns from the office, the personal staff will be entitled to 15 days of government salary. According to the 2021 order, even personal staff service of up to two years and one day will be eligible for minimum pension.
