Indian 2 is one of the movies that all the moviegoers, including the Malayalees, are eagerly waiting for. Kamal Haasan is playing the central role in the movie. The film is directed by Shankar. This is the second part of Shankar’s movie which released three decades ago. At the same time, it is also the last film of Nedumudi Venu Chetan, the Malayalee’s favorite star.

Now a petition has been received in the Madurai District Court. The petition says that the release of this film should be stopped. This petition has been filed by a person named Ashan Rajendran. He runs a martial arts research academy called Vermakalai. He is running this establishment in HMS Colony in Madurai itself. He is the one who has now filed a petition against this film.

He says in the petition that Kamal Haasan approached him to learn about Vermakalai techniques. This was before the shooting of the first Indian movie. That was about 30 years ago. They are used in a similar manner in this film as well. But he says that this is without his permission. Therefore, he claims that this film should not be screened in theaters and online platforms.

The case reached the Madurai District Court on Monday. A detailed hearing on this petition will be held on July 11. The court has given one more opportunity to the makers of Indian 2 movie to respond on this issue. Meanwhile, the film is releasing on 12th July. There is a lot of excitement for this movie, including the Malayalis. But as Shankar no longer has his old power, movie watchers say that it is impossible to say what the result of this movie will be.
