Hyundai’s premium sedan, the new Elantra, is set to be launched on October 3. Booking has begun. Hyundai has given the new Elantra a sophisticated and sporty design. The new hexagonal grille on the front gives the Elantra a vibrant look and a premium look.
The photos reveal that the new Elantra facelift will get a new hexagonal grille along with redesigned, triangular shaped headlamp cluster with LED lamps and LED daytime running lights as well. The tail-lamps are new too and have been re-designed in order to sit well with the theme of the overall design. The alloy wheels have been redesigned too and the car definitely looks much sharper with the new creases along the profile and on the bonnet as well.
The global-spec 2019 Hyundai Elantra gest a bunch of new safety features like – forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, lane departure warning with active lane control and a rear-view camera with cross-traffic alert. Additionally, it also gets a pedestrian detection system and a feature called Safe Exit Assist that alerts the passengers of a potential danger while exiting the sedan. The India-spec model will definitely get some of the features mentioned above. We also expect the new Elantra to get Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car technology along with a comprehensive list of creature comforts which are usually seen in the executive sedan segment.
