While German automotive giant Volkswagen unveiled its all new Virtus sedan, the query which got generated the maximum interest here in India, was that of its Indian launch. Based on the 2018 Polo hatchback, Virtus sedan is all set to replace the Polo sedan of the company, Volkswagen Vento, across the international markets next year. In line with Volkswagen Polo hatchback, the all new Virtus sedan has got the MQB A10 platform. Also, the Virtus has got a bigger dimension in comparison with the Volkswagen Vento, with a wheelbase of 2650mm, while the hatchback got a wheelbase of 2570mm.
Similarly, the Volkswagen Virtus has got a new dashboard, featuring new touch screen infotainment system and the AC controls, while the multi functional steering wheel and the digital display for the instrument cluster too have to be counted for their innovative placements. All said, it has to be seen when the Volkswagen Virtus going to hit the Indian markets, while the model for South American market seems ready for making the impact.
