Volvo has thus launched the second generation XC60 in India and has priced it at INR 55.92 lakh. Having the same SPA as those in XC90, S90 and the V90, this latest outing from Volvo is available in a single variant – Inscription. The vehicle appears as a larger vehicle than before, with the dimensions being larger than the ongoing model. Though provides more space interiorly, Volvo XC60 however has reserved the added space to the tall transmission tunnel.
The centerpiece on the dashboard is a 9 inch Sensus touchscreen infotainment system, while it controls close to everything in the car. You would see electrically adjustable front seats, which comes with massage function, while there is a 4 zone climate control. Technically speaking, this XC60 D5 is powered by a 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder, turbocharged diesel motor. The engine is capable of producing 235PS of maximum power, while the peak torque figure stands at 480Nm. It is all clubbed with an 8 speed automatic transmission to all the four wheels, while it will clock a maximum speed of 230kmph.
