Minister AK Saseendran said that the family of Ajeesh, who was killed in the katana attack, will be compensated with 10 lakh rupees. The minister also said that the government will provide a job to one of the family members.
Meanwhile, the locals responded by bringing the body of Ajeesh, who was killed in the katana attack, to the Sub-Collector's office compound. The protestors are demanding Rs 50 lakh to be given to the family.
